The 'Higher Education in Vocational Education in Nepal' (HEVEN) project is a 36-month initiative proposed to be supported by ERASMUS+ Higher Education Capacity Building grants. The project aims to transform the TVET landscape in Nepal by enhancing the capacity of TVET stakeholders, particularly higher education institutions. It focuses on providing quality leadership and management in TVET, training TVET educators, and improving technical infrastructure and international collaboration. Led by Tribhuvan University (TU), the project includes European partners JAMK and Saxion, and Nepali partners Kathmandu University (KU) and Nepal Open University (NOU). The project is organized into seven distinct or jointly-led work packages (WPs), ensuring comprehensive progress in various aspects of TVET enhancement. The HEVEN project is dedicated to significantly improving TVET education quality and stakeholder engagement in Nepal.
