As part of Work Package 4 (WP4) of the HEVEN Project, Nepal Open University (NOU) and Tribhuvan University (TU) jointly developed an initial training module for TEVT professional development, focusing on key competencies, relevant content, practical learning activities, and effective approaches to strengthen the pedagogical and professional capacities of TEVT teachers and educators. Developed through collaborative discussions, review of contemporary practices, and consideration of Nepal’s TEVT sector needs, the module emphasizes practical, participatory, and practice-oriented learning. It provides a foundation for further development of WP4 training manuals and capacity-development programmes and will be reviewed and refined through consultation with HEVEN partners and relevant TEVT stakeholders before finalisation.
